Screw Shafts

Pressed Flights supply screw shafts in a wide variety of designs to suit our complete range of screw conveyors, screw feeders, augers and specials.

Pressed Flights can also supply replacement screw shafts for the repair and refurbishment of equipment which has been originally supplied by other manufacturers.

Screw shaft assemblies can be supplied with machined drive, tail and intermediate stub shafts that can be cross bolted or shrink fit and welded into the central tube.

Shaft ends can be machined and bored complete with keyways or splines and bearing housings.

Assemblies can have full, half, third and quarter pitch segments.

Screws can be tapered, varying pitch and either right or left hand helix.

Special applications can include:

• ribbon segments complete with integral legs
• window flights for moving sticky materials
• centerless screws
